I just replaced my P rated tires with LT. I pull my 6800lb trailer fine now. The P were not sufficient in the sidewall and I got a bit of wiggle out of them. The ride is stiffer somewhat in my truck now but its a truck, not a passenger car. LT with either D or E rating will do you for those weights.
