Towing a 2010 Chevy HHR

I just began towing a 2010 Chevy HHR, the owners manual says to not exceed 65mph(which I fully understand), but I cannot find anywhere in the manual stating how far I can tow without stopping. Any suggestions?
  • Last year I toad our 2006 HHR for 4 days, totaled 1820 miles without any issues. We arrived at our campground, unhooked, and drove off to have a nice dinner in Moab.
  • 2009 for me. I don't recall a 65 MPH limit, but doesn't matter as I don't get over 65 very often.
Never thought about a distance limit.
Been working great for a couple years now.
Just go and don't worry about it....:)
  • Thank you very much for your input. I will do just that. Happy trails to you.
  • I tow a 2007 HHR. Twice from coast to coast without disconnecting or starting the motor or anything. No problems whatsoever. Just make sure that 2AMP fuse is pulled.
Right now, the HHR has somewhat more than 20,000 miles towing on it. 75,000
showing...and the coast to coast trips plus local runs. A good toad and a good car.
Just FYI, I also tow a 2011 Ford Ranger 4WD automatic. Also a good toad.
