Towing a Fifth Wheel

I have towed a boat and a travel trailer for many years, but, for the first time in my life I will be towing a fifth wheel. I would be happy to read some advice from those of you who have plenty of experience in this area....the Do's and Don'ts.

Thanks in advance.

There's a thread going on the 5er forum right now.

I like towing the 5th wheel better for the following.

Feels more stable, feels like one unit instead of two units.

Backing up I find easier. The TT is a much more gradual turn, the 5th wheel takes longer to cut, but when it does it almost cuts on a dime. Found it easier to straighten because of this.

Much easier towing. But just be aware a fiver will turn inside of the truck
