I always bring a rake with me camping. Its nice to rake the area under my patio mat so its free from small twigs and things. During my stay i rake around the fire ring at least once a day to pick up peanut shells and other things that may have hit the ground during the previous nights fire. When I leave, I do a quick once over of the site with a rake to pick up any stray wrappers and such.
I always leave the site better than what I found it. But then again, I always pull the covers back over the bed and neatly lay towels over the edge of the tub when I check out of hotels.
To many people have the attitude that "they pay people to clean up" I don't roll like that. Those people work hard enough because of a few lazy slobs. I like the fact that by me being an adult and picking up after myself that it will make someones day that much easier.
