Have not had much luck posting pictures since the Photobucket fiasco a couple of years ago but thought I would try again... here is a shot of my friend's house sitting on 3 acres at 9,000'
Well what do you know, it worked. Here is a shot of mama Elk serving up dinner to her rather large calf. We had a couple of dozen Elk wandering through the property every day, they even see the occasional black bear and the wild turkeys and deer are always around as well:
When Paul built the house I jokingly suggested he put in an RV site {complete with 30 amp service and water, fire ring etc}. This shot was taken in July of 2017 and as you can see that is exactly what he did. We get up there about 3 times a year. He had to trench 150" to bring in the power {you can see the pedestal in the mama Elk shot}. That is my old Kendon folding motorcycle trailer next to our coach {just replaced it with a nice 6 X 10 - 14' overall cargo trailer}:
