FINIDHED THE DOOR REPAIR TODAY! Only problems I ran into replacing the door vinyl skin was thinking I could use 1/8" vinyl instead of the 1/16" that the factory used. After cutting the 1/8" sheet which was $30., I found that it was too thick to fit into the frame. My door has an all steel frame so I could not adjust it. I had to purchase the 1/16" sheet vinyl. It fit perfectly. I also purchased the wrong glue, contact cement, which melted the Styrofoam core of the door. Fortunately I tried it on a small spot. The glue I needed was the glue used to put up foam board paneling, it worked good. Anyway the door looks new and I think I might have saved $400-$500, the price of a new door unit. I sure am proud of me today.
