Volunteer Hosts Needed - NC State Park

County Line Campground (70 sites) at Kerr Lake State Recreation Area (on the NC/VA border centrally) with NC State Parks is currently recruiting VOLUNTEER hosts for the 2014 camping season.

Prefer that folks be available for a one month assignment. Days off/out of park early in the week, so that you can be in the park for the weekend. Open and close park's main gate (8am & 9pm daily) and to let campers out between closing and opening hours for emergencies. Be a source of positive RV/camping ethics and practices, and provide park information to campers.

Free water and electric site. Park has a dump station and shower house is close by.

Thanks for posting this.
I wish I could help but with working 40plus a week I could not work that schedule. I would be willing to work a weekend type thing. Up on Friday afternoon and back to work by Monday morning as long as I could leave my camper there. We love Kerr Lake, but usually stay at JC Cooper CG.
