Washing Tire Covers?

I have a set of Tyre brand white tire covers. Is it possible to wash them in a washer?
  • I have a set that is 8 years old and I wash them in our top load washer on gentle cycle at least 2-3 times a year and they are still in good shape.
  • Depends upon how old they are and what kind of washing machine. If you are using an agitator (upright) machine, you might not want to wash them that way. The agitator could rip up the vynal. If using a front loader, it would be much more gentle. Do toss in some towels to soften the tumbling.

If yours are older, I suggest washing by hand. My tire covers crumbled to power last summer, so we got all new covers. I never washed them, except with a brush and soap when washing the camper.
