Water Filters

Is anyone using a better water filter other than the popular Blue Camco in-line water filter? I'm looking for something that is better that will make water cleaner and that will taste better but still isn't going to break the bank.

Honestly, they're a little expensive but I absolutely love our ClearSource RV Water Filter System. Water pressure doesn't take a hit. And it makes central Florida's swamp water palatable.

But, they're expensive at $250.

Advice taken. Thank you. We are weekend warriors in the summer but will be snowbirding this coming winter so I was thinking more along those lines. I use the Camco in-line filters so I'll just continue doing that and buy bottled water for drinking/making coffee etc. Thanks again!

Excellent advice. Long-term water filtration solutions can cost $$$ -- typically more than a Camco.

If you are a "weekender", in other words use it for vacations and don't live in it for long time periods, I'd suggest just buying bottled water. We use the blue filters and they are fine for showering and washing dishes. But all drinking water is from gallon jugs from whatever local grocery is nearby.

Home Depot whole house filter, a pair of 3/4 brass nipples, add a pressure regulator and thats a job well done.
