Why didn't EYE think of this...ever have to s-t-r-e-t-c-h that water hose and are just a wee bit messed up? The new collapsible water hoses will take that scenario away. I am on an Off-Road camping FB page and someone asked the question this morning....Amazon to the rescue!

We have had a yard one in use for a year now and no issues at all. Collapses as soon as the water is turned off. No leaks.

Here is the one i got. Notice drinking water safe. As far as longevity, so far so good but only got it this year. No leaks. Lots have started using them now. Everyone that sees mine at the campgrounds wants one also.

A 25' stretch water hose is still just 25'. If a 25' regular hose won't fit, a 25' stretch hose isn't going to be any better.

That would be the case yes. My white hose is not 25ft. And the space devoted it to is is substantial,,,not actually, but the roll is a constant p.i.a. Not Having that would be a huge bonus..and then the added footage.

The stretch hoses come in varying lengths.....we just purchased a 50 footer! Itโ€™s lighter and takes up less room than the 50 foot hose we are presently using! If anyone is concerned about 50 feet โ€œnotโ€ being long enough.....2 - 50 foot collapsible hoses give a lot of range and still be a light, compact package! memtb

We always fill our RV with water thru a white hose and filter and carry an extra hose for such instances but have never needed it.

I don't connect at a park. I draw water as needed when needed so water sitting in the black hose shouldn't be an issue. Good thought tho.

However, this would mandate the use of the onboard RV fresh water tank......OH, the horror! ๐Ÿ˜‰ memtb
