The information from your cell phone activity is given freely when you agree to install and use a particular app. They have it and use it, but you've agreed to allow that. Big difference.Blazing Zippers wrote:
Fizz, YES, some of us are paranoid. Or maybe cautious about who might know when we're not at home, or about our banking info, and the list goes on. There is a bunch of personal information floating on the internet that is not in one's favor, I don't want mine out there, and I don't feel the need to have my personal information sold when I don't make a profit from the sale.
My personal information has been leaked 3 times. All by some form of government entity.
1. VA lost a laptop with my info on it
2. Illinois dept of unemployment
3. Office of personnel management (including my fingerprints)
Never from my cell phone activity.

In our case, actually none. Once I found out that most 'apps' sell your information to 3rd party companies for the purpose of tracking and stats, I eliminated all of them. We use the cell phones for communicating now (calls) only.
Really?
Paranoid much?
