What do you do for fun

We fish (mostly), take the dogs hiking, drive around and explore any area that's new to us. We love looking at real estate for sale.

We light our fire later to enjoy the crackle and quiet time. We also keep games on hand for those rainy or too chilly nights. Pass the pigs, skip bo, farkle, yahtzee.

Inside in the rain with an adult beverage, tunes and the DW can be as much fun as sight seeing, laying on the beach getting a tan or floating downn the river in a tube. Campfire and BBQ are also way up there on the list.

So my answer is All of It!

We're only inside if the weather or bugs are bad. We bike, hike, sight see, drive around far too much, cook outside, sit around the gas firepit for an hour or so, fish, canoe, swim or sit on the beach, walk the dog if she's with us, people watch, read, and generally check out the locals around where we're camping.

We go to the beach and I surf/SUP! At locations where there are FREE sights to see…we do that as well!

Hiking, backpacking, back-country kayaking. The kids really enjoy it too and are finally starting to get old enough to carry small packs or help (or at least not hinder) paddling.

Our trips usually are near a lake so we can boat, near places to go ride the side by side, or at music festivals. Mainly, we like to party without having to drive home! That last part is a joke, kinda :)

I like to pull in to a campground for 3 days and stay inside the coach watching people drink around the campfire and fish. After 3 days the tanks are full and I am out of supplies so I drive away.

Sometimes we like to do......nothing....... When you work 6-7 days a week it is nice to get away to rest........ no phone, no internet, not a single luxury :) ....... just getting away....... no yard to mow, etc...............

Our trailer stays put, so I bring whatever hobby fits in my car. Sometimes I sew, or practice cello, or organize my computer or gourmet cook. These are my solo days when I'm sometimes the only human camping.

Weekends we bake in the sun, visit with other seasonals, maybe take the metal detector to the beach, organize a scavenger hunt or take the pontoon out and pretend to fish.

We always go to the nearby festivals and garage sales and try to shop and dine locally. They appreciate us...we appreciate them.

Not retired yet but soon. Currently RV trips are limited to weekends and vacations. Fortunately I live in Az. For short weekends 3 lakes are within 45 minutes. A little longer are into the mountains and some of the most amazing wilderness camping anywhere. Includes the mountain lakes.
For fun I take the Rhino for trail riding and the 12 ft fishing boat for fishing. Some times just some reading or sitting by the fire with the dogs. At times some target shooting with the 22's. Only affordable rounds these days.
Never seem to get bored.
