We are doing a major trip early this Summer (May, June, July) and we will be visiting friends and relatives on the east coast.

Using the Internet I have found a Cousin I have not seen in over 50yrs. (in fact at 5yrs old we were Kissing Cousin's LoL) anyway we want to stop and see her and her hubby and family in Farmington Ct. for a few days but do not see any places close to stay.

Our Motor Home is 24ft towing a 96 Geo Tracker, I am a member of B.P.O.E. (Elks) I see there are several lodges in the area but not sure how close they are to Farmington. We are only going to be there couple days. Do not need hook-ups just a place to stay. I am also in the Lions Club.......

Thanks LeeB

Pretty limited but if it were me I'd use American Legion SF in Barkhamsted. maybe 20-30 minutes from Farmington depending where in town you're headed. Pretty nice park but no hookups and lousy bathrooms. Usually need reservations as it's a pretty popular place. BlackRock SP is another but I've never checked it out, about the same distance.
If you go during the week you can get in. W/e's will be full.

There is a Elks lodge in Waterbury and one in Torrington Ct, Not next door but not bad. Google CT Elks. Lake compounce a musement park in Bristol Ct which is close is building Bear Creek campground, the web site says open summer 2014. It will have hookups. The web site listed price for RVs at Monday-Thursday $60.00 Friday-Sunday $70.00
