Another vote for the vineyard rv park on midway. That is our go-to spot when visiting SF. Catch the ferry from Vallejo right to the wharf.

Used this location often as a base when visiting Davis, Sacramento area. - IAMICHABODExplorer IIThey do allow overnight parking at this location.
- stevekkExplorerWhy do you bring up Campingworld? I have been to that location.
You mean spending the night in the parking lot?
What is the policy? Think it is safe? - Passin__ThroughExplorer

- stevekkExplorerThanks for the good recommendation. Sounds nice.
I will look into staying there. - kalynzooExplorerWe travel there often as we have friends living in Vacaville. We enjoy our stay an Vineyard RV park on Midway Dr. There is a newer section with grass and fully paved roadway, it is back in, but very nice. Actually I prefer the more rustic preferred pull through sites near the pool and office. Earthen pads, brick patios, and nicely level. Very large dog run (huge) which is kept clean, again earthen with trees and doggie play ground. You get the idea, it is our choice. Next door is Midway RV park, we have never stayed there, but a drive thru on the way home one day keeps Vineyard as our first choice. While in Vacaville do go to Tahoe Joe's Steak House for dinner. Excellent casual dinning.
Happy Trails.
