which caulk/sealant to use?

Have a rubber roof and noticed that caulk had receded from edge and left a gap. Not able to physically crawl up on roof, so good wife took several pics.

Not sure if this pic will be with post.

    1) Dicor lap sealnt (self-leveling as it's on the roof, not on the side)

    2) Geocel EPDM sealant

    3) Outdoor Urethane caulk/sealant from Home Depot will also work, for a fraction of the cost.

I would not use a silicone outdoor sealant unless you're planning to sell the rig in a year or two ;). It will work, but won't last long.
  • Dicor self leveling lap sealant on roof (horizontal surface). Dicor non leveling sealant on sides (vertical surface). Eternabond is great too for longer stretches.
  • I use Dicor and Eternabond on the roof and outdoor silicone caulk for the sides.
