Which Saturns Were Towable 4 Down in 2003?

We are looking at replacing Our Very Reliable but aging 1992 Tracker with something a few Years Newer.
We are about to look at a couple of candidates.
#1 is a 2004 Chevy Tracker 4X4 in nice shape but is a pretty bare bones vehicle.
#2 is a 2003 Saturn Vue AWD that is loaded and has fewer Miles.

The question is . is the Vue from 03 even Towable ?

Thanks for Your input. I think that We are going to look at a newer Suzuki Grand Vitara instead.
Possibly an 08 . Any comments from owners of these would be welcome!

I think when I was looking at the suzukis that the rear tire intruded quite a bit into the door opening and was a pain to get in. if that affects you check it out.

  • Years ago, we went to a Grand Vitara from a Tracker. Loved the GV. Much more comfortable, better a/c, etc. GV pulls just as well, if not better than the tracker. You will be happy you made that change.
    Safe travels!

I bought a 2005 and it was towable. when I looked earlier, maybe 03 they used the old lawnmower type of variable transmission and were NOT towable. read the owner's manual under recreational towing or towing behind a motorhome. if it has the Honda motor/tranny it will be. I see at that link the answer there is no.
