I think you need one more classification: CAMPERS - some of us use our RV's almost exclusively for that.
We aren't really Vacationers, we use ours 95% of the time for camping in the mountains, usually in NF campgrounds, although we are not averse to true boondocking at times. We rarely stay where there are hookups, though many NF campgrounds do have a pump for filling a water jug. We also rarely go on weekends - more often for 2 or 3 nights during the week. Our true vacations tend to be something other than staying in the camper, usually involving flying somewhere, then renting a car if needed.
