Every time I come to this forum, I get an itching to get on the road. It's going to be a lonnnnng winter.

Hope you have the ability to driveway camp then you can at least sleep in the camper during the winter months, even if you can't get away or have no where you could go. We do this almost every weekend. Of course of last camper did not have any slides, this one does, so that may change things once it starts snowing. But even with that, with all slides IN, we can still sleep in the bed ad have access to everythng except comfortable television viewing in the living room. Give it a shot, it might help the looooooooong winter!

We're in campground right now, sunny forecast next 10 days, 80's, don't really understand. We do it all winter!.....

We feel bad for you folks that have to curtail your camping for the winter but feel obligated to get out there every chance we get so we will keep the reports coming. :C

If you get the itch and the weather's lousy, you can always toss the sleeping bags on the LR floor. Although, I'd advise against pounding tent pegs into the carpet or building a campfire.

First time in a couple of months the AC has not run.Oh yeah, We too are in the Mouse House. Florida that is. Right next to the park after spending a month in the park. Sorry for the salt in the hitch itch wound. We worked long and hard for this.

As soon as my 5er gets out of the shop from having some warranty work done, it is going to a camp ground and I will be spending the winter here in TX. Right now I am living with my son and daughter in law as my son has been using my 5er. Glad I can at least use it in the winter. lol

At least you got out twice and that's pretty good:B But yes it must be hard right now...and your poor sister:(

We may be settling for driveway camping until we can go...

Extra hard when you know it's winterized, sitting right outside the house and you have only had it for a month and used it only twice! Haven't even made a payment yet!. Could be worse I guess, my Sister just got a new to her 5ver yesterday. I doubt they will even use it till next spring.

Just got back fron Zion. Beautiful weather. Trees are changing. Virgin River was running clear. Try the Spotted Dog Cafe in Springdale. Great wine list & very good food.
I should have stayed longer.

It isn't this site that gets me wanting to go somewhere...it's the sight of other RV's running up Rt. 17 as we're at work and later on our way home...we see and comment on every one.
