- down_homeExplorer IIYou're lucky.
Wife insist on driving the hot rod every time we go together in it.
Being a really sweet guy, I usually let her. I try to go to sleep as soon as possible. She drives me to tears, the way she drives. She thinks it is a taxi or something. - ol_Bombero-JCExplorer

I thought a stocker was someone who puts stock on the shelves in a store? - talonheadExplorerWhen my wife and I first got together we had mustangs, and she had never driven anything bigger than a Ranger before. I grew up with pickup trucks.
We were married for 10 years before I got my F250 CC 4x4. We had gone to visit folks in TX and went looking at trucks and wound up driving home in it! My wife is probably a better driver than I am. I gave up the "Dukes of Hazzard" style when I left the farm. When we drove out to MT to pick up my dads 5er she didn't even hesitate to get behind the wheel with it hooked up:). I can't drive as long as I used to and my night vision isn't as good as it used to be. If we take her H2 on a long trip, I sleep a lot, a 7000# SUV at 80 mph being driven like a sports car is a little much! Especially when there's no brake pedal on my side! She can pick up traffic patterns waaayyy faster than me! - JarlaxleExplorer II

If you want to see the face of fear, offer to help out a friend's teenage son to learn how to drive.
I'll teach him to drive a standard shift!

This makes no sense at all!
jdog, every so often someone will start a thread and, inadvertantly, broadcast the fact that the best woman they could get to actually marry them is a moron who can't handle the simplest of tasks, i.e. driving a car. Often, they will extend their personal experience of their wives by generalizing those experiences to include all women (generalizing makes them feel better because it enhances their denial).
The reason I appreciate such posts is they help me distinguish the losers from the evolved men on this site, therefore making it easier to ignore the losers.
Yet, another thing to be grateful for on this Thanksgiving. Hope you have much for which to be grateful.
PS wa8yxm, I'm very sorry for your loss. - fj12ryderExplorer IIINah, he means stockers, as in not optioned out. Probably upset at being outed as a troll. :)
