We camp about 100 ft from the wifi source and are unable to get wifi, is there a simple affordable solution as in an extender or something?

Get something at a Staples for about 30 bux. I have had several and they all worked just fine. D Link is one brand name.

Yes we can walk up to rec center and access it but unable to in TT 100 ft away

Have you first tried standing next to it? I can't imagine needing amplification for a distance of 100'.
