Ahh, yesteryear. My Mom was a terrible cook (self admitted). Fortunately, we had neighbors that knew different ways to eat.
The absolute best was traveling over to Granny Dow's house near a small lake. Grandson Jimmy and I would ply our way around in a small boat and grab crawfish until we had buckets filled. Granny would boil and even shell out a full plate for us. THat was eating!
