Will Smith's Slide-Up Trailer

Maybe this has been posted here before.

Actor Will Smith has a home on wheels, and no doubt a driver to move it where he wants it. It comes complete with slide-outs, and (I've never seen this before) a slide-up.

  • That's a cool trailer though finding a parking space can be a problem.
  • I have seen this trailer in person on the set of a movie. It is very nice. It is parked on the sets so he can go there instead of being out with everyone else when he isn’t filming. It is connected to the construction style trailer generators. Power is not an issue (plus they move it a couple hundred feet away so he doesn’t have to hear it).
  • I really wonder how much use he gets out of it. And when not being used personally is it available to be rented similar to a large private yachts and jets. It's owned by a very wealth person but personal use is very limited and the rest of the time it's begin rented out. The renting covers a lot of the cost of ownership and may even go towards paying for the unit.

I agree. It doesn't look like it's intended for use in a park setting. It probably wouldn't fit in most parks. Most of the big celebrity RVs that I've seen have been in a Class A format. I like that he chose to go with a huge trailer and pull it with a semi.
  • Yep, that's quite a rig for sure. I don't think the intent is for typical RV - camping use though. I think it's designed to be used while sitting at a movie set, or to travel in while on tours. All the televisions, the upper level with all that seating space, quite obvious... it's designed to be a party vehicle for entertaining and making impressions, which is what a lot of celebrities have to do in order to stay on top of their game. If you have the money, you can do this. As I've always said, there is no right or wrong way to go camping. If this RV gives him pleasure, that's really all that matters.

I wonder if that entire rig can be powered by a typical 50 amp RV service?
  • 14 TVs???? Three is the same room???? The movies may be his business, but that's a lot of TV watching in his free time.
