I'm a woodworker and have a fully outfitted home shop. I'd like to do a little wood butchery while traveling but not sure what works well for traveling. Any other woodworkers out there traveling with their hobby? If so, what do you bring and how do you bring it?

There are actually campgrounds that have woodworking shops that you can use. Then all you would need to haul is material and finished projects.

We have a Redwood 5er and a 1-ton truck with plenty of load capacity. I'm looking for a hobby not a job and need ideas of what works for others.

A properly equipped toy hauler could make s good wood shop base of operations.

I was a mechanic most of my life but I like to play around with wood as a hobby. It's more fun and satisfying to use as few electric tools as possible.
When we are away I only take a book, crown royal and food, no tools and no work.
