Would a sky-rise campground make sense?

Bout as good an idea as a 2 story outhouse.

good idea if you are on the top or bottom floor, but in between?. . . not so much

I don't think that will work very well. Interesting concept though.

In England, they built a 'house of cards' where they stacked one apartment on top of another, with cement walls going up about 13 floors. Problem happened one day when a gas stove exploded and took out two walls on the 10th floor, leaving the upper 3 floors on that corner of the building un-supported, and they fell onto the 10th floor, giving it a sudden extreme load, causing those walls to fail, and the rest fall down to a point where none of the walls kept failing, but by that time, much of the building was in shambles.

I camp so that I can step out my RV door and be in the "wilderness". Or at least outdoors. A high-rise campground would be no different than a hotel, IMO. And a neighbor running a genny or warming up the diesel would bring a whole new level of "yuck" to the fresh air.

Unless you're on the top floor, you wouldn't need an awning.
And, if you're not on the top floor, a camp fire is not a good idea.

It is an interesting idea. But, I can also see why it would not be practical.

It would make draining your black tank a whole lot easier. Just stuck the hose down the rain drain and let 'er rip.

May work better if you are on the top floor.

Look for one of these coming soon to a college football stadium near you. Think of the $$$ that could be made by stacking up those tailgaters. lizzie
