Zero Degrees

After many many years of R V ownership I have just placed a thermostat in my Norcold refer , it stays between zero and ten degrees in the freezer . Is that normal or is it to cold ?

If the ice cream scoops out properly the temperature is just right.
0 to 5 is about there IMO.

0*F is the benchmark for freezers, 40*F is the benchmark for fridges, just as stated in the link above.

I keep the freezer portion of my S&B refrigerator/freezer at 4 degrees and my deep freeze at 0 degrees.

That's a good range unless you put ice cream in there, when it will prove a little on the high side.

Ours even gets below zero. Most people complain about it being not cold enough so you are lucky. We have frozen ice cream and actually store it in the freezer door.

Don't know what is normal, but frozen is frozen. Once it is frozen, -50 degrees wouldn't matter.
