Iโve made many winter hunting trips in November in that area and my experience has differed from Sandia Manโs. Early November is usually OK but by mid November you can almost count on snow. As far as temps go, I would see 10 degrees and could almost watch the thermometer dropping. My propane wouldnโt light and all my drains, food and water froze. In other words, it gets COLD. Temps near freezing would be more likely in the lower elevation deserts of the valley, e.g., Phoenix.
They do try to keep the interstates clear of snow, but itโs likely some roads may be temporarily closed until they do. So if itโs a mild winter you may be fine, otherwise you should at least be prepared for cold and possibly being immobile for a short time.
