- MUDDYNOLLExplorerWolfs in Knox Pa. is right of the exit on I80. It's an older campground but nice an would be great for an overnight stop when passing through because its not out of the way. Nice pool and activities for the kids. Our kids love it there. We go there almost every year.
- GermaniaExplorerLook in Parkreviews for Milton Pa, there's a Yogi Bear CG there that looks to be very kid friendly,it's 4 or 5 miles off of !80

- Landroamer1ExplorerIf you like KOA's there is Nittany Mountain off exit 210 A near New Columbia , and another off exit 161 near Bellefonte.
- Camper_Mama_BeaExplorerif you want to spend some time check out Knoebels, it is an ammusment park with campground.
Promised Land State Park just off 81 is a very nice park, seems that it is a common place for people traveling to/from New England to stop, they have some electric sites, a few full hook-up sites. Lake with swim beach, hiking trails, there is a boat rental I don't know the details as we bring our own canoe, resident bald eagle pair that currently has eaglets...there is an observation station to watch their nest.
Otter Lake Campground/Resort is a nice stop as well. Full hook-up or water/electric sites. The seasonal sites are seporate loops from the sites that are non-seasonal. Outdoor pool, indoor pool, lake with swim beach and some boat rentals, ball field, multiple playgrounds, lots of area for bike riding, game room.
