I once saw on pintrest an interesting setup using pvc pipe - they used 1/2 inch pvc and anchored it at both ends by drilling through the pipe and into the trailers structural material. The also painted it to match the décor so it didn't look so obvious. You might want to search on pintrest there are some wonderful ideas that are really cheap.
