I think you guys have the high pressure system we had last week. We were happy to see it go .....it is just too bad it had to go somewhere else instead of vanishing.

I really am not a fan of summer. The good news is, fall will be here soon.

Yeah right now I wish we were in Adelanto. I think it gets cooler a lot sooner then here (plus Calvin loved it out there with all the dirt). Anyways, we haven't hit August yet, and it stays hot till Sept, October or so.

Calvin needs to have his adventures written up for a children's book complete with the photos and their captions. It might make enough money to pay his food bill.

Mom and dad decided to go to Michigan when this summer time polar vortex hit, sure beats what you have Calvin. It's been 50's at night and 70's during the day (I don't know how to convert C to F.) I like it cool. I get to snuggle into my bed at night, too.

Jill, wish we had you'alls weather. 50's to 70's is similar to when we were in Santa Paula. We actually cooled off some at around a 100 + degrees. ... LOL

You need higher altitude job sites!

Here August is cooler than July and September will see me running the space heater at some point. October is the beginning of wood stove season.

We had hotter weather early and everywhere in my part of the world is cooling off sooner than usual, if the weather forecasts hold. From my perspective, this can only be a good thing.

Calvin's thinking that everyone should just leave him alone, after all he is comfortable and that's all that matters. :B
