- DutchmenSportExplorerYea, they sure do have a way of taking our hearts away, don't they!
- magnusfideExplorer IIWhen ever we have a fur kid cross the rainbow bridge Herself heads to a shelter after about two weeks and adopts two to replace the one. One time she brought home 4. She can't handle the "empty nest" feeling.
- colliehaulerExplorer IIIWe'll happily both Collies received a clean bill of health and have clean teeth. On my way to go pick them up.
- downtheroadExplorerJust look at those beautiful teeth...all ready for the red carpet now.
- toedtoesExplorer IIIThe day after my paranoid neurotic shepherd died, I came home from work. 5 minutes later I was calling looking for another dog. That shepherd whine when you come home is beautiful.
On the other hand, I routinely take an extra day or two before picking up the parrot. That day of peace and quiet is heaven.
Glad the collies got a clean bill! Too bad it couldn't have been free too. :) - colliehaulerExplorer III

For both Collies along with all of Cooper's shots and having a small growth on Mikko removed was a little over $700. While not cheap keeping the Collies in good health priceless. I never had a parrot but did have a parakeet that loved to squawk.

Poor Mikko is still a little groggy from the anesthetic. - toedtoesExplorer IIIDog-parrot sees Bat-dog and Moose-dog as his flock. So he "calls" to them daily. Which requires a lound repetitive obnoxious squack from him and a loud obnoxious howling in return from them. Very annoying. And that doesn't include his need to shriek when I'm on the phone.
- CroweExplorerI was devastated when we lost our bloodhound and vowed no more dogs. One walk through the kennel where we board during doggie day care changed that in a hurry!
- RBakExplorerGlad the collies are ok. Buttons will have her dental next month. I couldn't be without a dog - just doesn't seem right!

I've had as many as four Collies at one time, down to two now. I can't imagine life without a dog or two. I was always told one of the best things you could do for your dog was a dental to keep them in good health and provide them with a long and healthy life.
