Your words are so eloquent. But I also found the few simple words you wrote in your last email to me to be very moving, because they illustrate so perfectly the feelings of loss - of having left a beloved member of the family behind. Apologies, but I thought it worth sharing that comment here for the others on the forum who know you and met Keiss over the years:
"I'm camped with Keiss a few yards away. Then I will point the truck, a week from today, to leave without him for the first time. "
I tear-up reading that simple line again.
