How I can tell when Winter has Arrived.

Nabi, I can't even imagine... It's 24 here this morning in GA, but warming up to 56 later today. We even had a light dusting of snow a couple of days ago (unheard of this early down here!). I'm ready for summer! Give me an 85 degree day with a light breeze any day, and I'm a happy woman! My dogs love to run around in any weather, but are happy to come back inside after a little while when it's this cold here.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration!

this pic is of ice fog on the river yesterday at -19c...today it is -24c...we know winter is here....burrrrrr...the wees are not happy !

It is cold here and then Daisy likes to huddle up to a heating vent. The cats also lay on the vents.

Google tell's me that it's winter!

It's not bad out there right now for the Rocky Mountain foothills in late November (sunny and mid 40's), but I don't have any lap dogs. Lily at 56 pounds might be OK, but Molly at a svelte 79 and, heaven forbid, Shadow at 89? Oy vey!

After a very brisk (20-something and snowy) game of Chuckit, I took a nice warm dognap with Jimmy and Ben laying on me :-) Who needs a fireplace when you have pets??

How about freezing in the Sunshine state. Need a lapdog!

Sorry, I can't feel your pain of the low 50's.

Ditto! 31 with a howling wind. My dogs love it, though. They become limp dishrags when it's above 75. They still cling, though.
