In Dog We Trust on Goverment Seal!

Watching the news the other night here in Florida I couldn't believe my eyes!!

Local Police Department ordered new rug with their seal for their office floor and found this:


In Dog We Trust instead of In God We Trust. :B

Article said it must have been a 'typo' by the carpet company.
I seriously doubt that is NOT what happened.

I think they are auctioning the misspelled rug off for some animal humane charity.

    The latest news is that they are going to auction if off with the money going to charity.

    Misspellings are common. In my business I learned that printers do not pay attention to spelling. Often I would get form or contract back with misspellings. (Different printers.) I even had a sign painter misspell our town's name on the side of a fleet vehicle!!

    Since many police departments use canine units, it may not have been a typo. :)

    actually almost four months...at the entrance where all the County employees enter.

    What is even better........

    I believe I could have fixed those two letters with a thick black magic marker. I hope they at least sent that rug over to the animal shelter. :B

    That's like the agnostic, dyslexic, insomniac that stayed up all night wondering if there was a "DOG."

    The news in Florida is certainly never boring.

    I hope too that the company corrects their mistake or refunds the money which came from taxpayers. Glad the department is supporting the humane society.
