Leaving Pets in Your Tow Vehicle
I have been following the thread on keeping pets cool, when I was responding a thought cam to mind.
When I have to leave my girls in my truck I leave it running and use the remote to lock the doors.
On my Chevy the Drivers Side window has a auto down feature that puts the window all the way down by just pushing the switch once. While this is a handy feature it can be trouble when leaving pets inside the truck.
What I do is take a piece of paper towel and jam it under the switches. I have an Extended Cab so I do not have to worry about the back windows. Those that have trucks with power rear windows need to make sure that you lock them out by using the door switch. My Brother was taking my girls from one house to another and was shocked when he saw both on the Girls heads hanging out of the window. He never even thought about them stepping on the switch.
