Pet-friendly Extended Stay RV Parks In Cooler Locations

Hello,

Having been retired for 3 years now and finally able to travel for a couple of months, I would like to get "pet owners" (4 smaller dogs) opinions on possible month long stays. These are our desires:

1. Cool temperatures in July through middle of August. (Not many days over 85 degrees.)
2. Montana, S. Dakota, Wyoming, Colorado, Minnesota, or other norther states west of Michigan.
3. Extended stay RV Park close to or including a dog park.

Maybe overthinking this, but any ideas or suggestions for specific RV Parks will be appreciated.

I like the North Shore of lake Superior in MN. Perfect weather of a summer time.

KOA campgrounds tend to be dog-friendly, and some have great dog dog parks called "Kamp K-9"
