Pet Owners - Thanks for your help
A couple of months ago, I posted a thread about adopting/purchasing a dog to join our family. You folks offered tons of advice on how to proceed.
Tomorrow, our new furry friend will join us. We went with a female Brittany puppy named Spring!
Our last dog was a Brittany and even though it's been 10 years, we still miss him. We looked at all your recommendations before making a selection. Here are some of the factors we considered when we selected her:
1. We were familiar with the breed.
2. We like to bird hunt, and the Brittany makes a great all around bird dog.
3. Brits have a high exercise demand, and this will keep us both very active.
4. They are typically good with children (our youngest grand daughter is 7).
5. They are a good size to travel with.
So thank you all for your help. I'll post her pic when she comes home tomorrow.
