"Dead" Dogs :-)

I know I have done my Dog-Mom-ly duties to the fullest when my two are passed out :-) Yesterday was a gorgeous day, so we spent all day getting the patio cleaned up, outdoor furniture wiped down, etc. By about 3:30 pm, Ben was crawling into my lap every chance he could, to take a nap (he apparently isn't comfortable just sleeping outdoors?). And then my sister and family arrived for Easter dinner - and brought their adorable mutt Poppy along; so then my boys had a friend to romp with!!

By last night - it was all I could do to rouse them long enough to go outside to potty - and they're still sleeping off the fun today :-) It was a really great day yesterday :-)

    Much like people, dogs do get tired and when they do, like us, they love to just laze around if not take long naps.

    My dogs were the same way this past weekend. Unfortunately hiking made Misty a little sore.

    A tired dog is a good dog.

    One of our dogs, when she is tired, she becomes what we call "liquid dog", as she will spill off of her bed and onto the floor, lying there half on and half off, and not even notice,

    Yep sounds like they had an outstanding Easter. Hope yours was outstanding as well!

    Same happens to my boys when we've had them outside all day while work in the yard, especially if we take them for a good walk. I love it when they are all warm and snuggly!
