Does anyone know of a MFG that makes a less then 5" wide clam shell type pooper scooper? I want to be able to fit it in the 5" wide fence post I use to store my sewer hose on the camper.

You might stop by a welding shop and show them the 6 inch one and see if they would make you a scaled down one.and you could add the handle if they put a small piece of 1/2 or 3/4 inch tubeing on the scooper.

If you go to the kitchen department in any store you can probably find a large plastic spoon with holes in it that would work as a pooper-scooper and would only be a couple of inches wide.

After looking at the various pooper coopers and not being impressed/happy with those available we stopped by the garden center and found a small metal rake and shovel with wooden handles.

Been scooping poop with them for over 10 yrs.

Probably can't find any like it again
Is it time for your medication or mine?

That's the way I use to do it until I found a better way. I still use that method for a quick stop.

There are a plethora of pooper scoopers on ebay and amazon. The trouble is none tell how wide they are. Google will just match words so 5" means nothing.

Local Tractor supply, Ace Hardware, Wallyworld all had them but 6" wide.

With 3 large Collies, I have a LOT of waste to deal with. I use the 6" wide ones at home and they work great, saves my back.
