Since Abby's passing last month, Penny hasn't been her spunky self (actually, none of us have). We decided to get another rescue. We pick her up Friday. Here is Twinkie! Any guesses as to breed (we were told golden/setter/spaniel mix)? Agnes

Twinkie is beyond adorable...and in time Penny will think so too, it will be good for her and I'm sure she'll have lots of fun with her.

Ha ha... I've always said it's a good thing puppies are cute because they do test your patience! Twinkie is doing very well. She climbed over the puppy gate so we got an extra tall one. Her and Penny are getting to know each other through the gate. And we have lots of different chew toys! First vet visit today. Agnes

They have to be cute or they would never make it to a adult.

Make sure Twinkie has plenty of things to chew on or she will find something.

Here's Twinkie! She's almost 3 months old and came from the Humane Society in Mississippi. She's so calm. I hope her first night goes well.

I'm so glad your doing this...it really helps to mend a broken heart even though it's hard to let go of Abby.
I've seen first hand how hard it is on the pet that's left behind, much the way Abby was when Haylee (sp) passed.

I also should have added that Aussie also come in sizes from "toy" (often a cross with a Papillon), to miniature (20 to 30 lbs) to full size (Ike was 75 lbs and NOT overweight)

Well, she IS twinkie color (with cream filling) :B I'll bet she looked just like a twinkie when she was a tiny pup. How old is she? Congrats to all!
