I'm really beginning to understand all the people that used to stop me with Ike (my late Aussie) as we'd go to the Senior Living Facility to visit Grandma. People would pet him, and then get all misty telling me about their beloved pets and how much they miss them. That will be me some day, God willing that I live that long. ๐ I think being pet-less scares me more than getting old/dying.

Their passing just reminds of us our own vulnerability, especially as we age. Sorry for your loss.
