If your neighbours dog barks, then set the radio to transmit, hide it near his house somewhere, and record the dog on your computer. Then you have the evidence.
I use mine for yard work while I have timers for cooking inside on the oven. When the timer beeps, I pick it up on the other radio when I am out in the garden.
combining your barking hearing system with a simple temperature alarm seems like the way to go. I'm glad i made the initial post-this is a good idea
