If you seldom camp without shore power there's really no reason for anything more than a single Group 24 deep cycle / marine battery so the trailer's electric brake breakaway system will be functional, and for those rare occurrences where you may not have shore power available and would like to run your lights, water pump, etc. You haven't indicated which group size batteries these are that you have now but if they're group 24s mounted in group 24 boxes then you might as well get another G24 and just plunk it in one of the boxes. If they're larger G27 batteries then for a few $$ more you'd be better off with a group 27 battery that will fit that size box. If this is the case I'd just grab one with the best price from your local WalMart, Costco, etc.
