12v to 120v inverter question
What would a 5A draw on the 120v side of the inverter be on the 12v side?

50 amps or so. 120/12=10. 10x5=50
My residential fridge pulls .5 amps on 120 volts so .5 or 1/2 an amp x10 = 5 amps dc
