1997 Onan 5000 bgmfa no power to control board

Hello all I am having issues with my Onan. The starter went out and while troubleshooting that I broke the post off the start solenoid. I decided to replace both and after installing the new solenoid nothing happens. I am getting no power to the control board, or to the control circuit cmof the solenoid. I have found 2 fuses and both have been tested good. I have 13+ volts coming into the solenoid, and am not sure what to do now. Any help would be appreciated!

SOLVED!!! That news makes me happy! Gennys can be a pain.
  • Solved I was sent the wrong Solenoid, apparently this generator powers the control board through the control wire on the solenoid. I ordered the 307-2570 solenoid but received the 307-2586 and didn't notice. Thanks everyone!
  • Further info. I am sure others will chime in, and confirm this, but just so you know... one of the small terminals on the solenoid is the "I" terminal (spade terminal), it is the one closest to you, and comes from the ignition, while the other small one (spade terminal) is the "S" terminal, which goes to the starter. The large terminal closest to you is for the positive wire from the battery, while the other large terminal goes to the starter.
  • I think it would help you if you had a wire harness to look at. If you know the Onan part number for your wire harness, look it up in the Internet or EBay. It might be something like 338-3812, which is for a KYK 4000 Onan generator. This particular harness shows that the two wires that go to the small terminals on the solenoid go into the connector that plugs into the bottom of the control board.
  • I am not seeing any dropped wires. There are 2 wires labeled b1 and b2 that are not connected to anything, but I am pretty sure they were like that. There is a black wire attached to the battery post on the solenoid. It goes up into the generator and disappears, do you know by chance if this is how the control panel gets power?
  • Are you positive you have not "dropped" a wire somewhere
