- KD4UPLExplorerMost split phase inverters are 48v or 24v. It may be hard to find a 12v model. Magnum, Outback, and Xantrex/Schneider/Conext all make them.
You may have to use 2 120v models and stack them with the appropriate cable and interface. - hammickExplorerI use a Schneider SW4048 at my offgrid place. Super nice and very easy to use. Pretty affordable compared to their XW series.

Parallel stacking enables the Freedom SW inverter/chargers to double the AC output in inverter mode. Series stacking enables the Freedom SW inverter/chargers to generate 120/240 V split phase output²
² AC source must be split phase, requires Stacking Cable (part# 808-9005) - BB_TXNomadDon't know what his intent is. But a split phase system can use a common neutral wire that is the same size as each hot wire. A system with two hots in phase trying to use a common neutral would need a neutral wire with twice the ampacity rating of the hot wires.

Does such a thing exist ? Yes, I want L1, L2 and neutral.
What are you trying to accomplish? Even the expensive Large motorhomes will have 2 or more 3000 or 4000 watt Inverter/chargers. They may even be 24 volt, but still use the same 120 inputs. Not Split (out of phase) that is 50 amp service. DougColo Native wrote:

That just means LINE 1 and LINE 2, NOT a split phase 50 amp type system the OP is asking about. Your Magnum is a 30 amp Inverter. Doug- RLS7201Explorer IIThis is the 240/48 volt split phase inverter I installed on my sons 2800 watt solar farm in northern CA.
Rochard - road-runnerExplorer IIISplit phase is what comes out of a 240 volt center-tapped transformer winding, and can be also produced with different technology (e.g. inverters). IMO it would be more logical if it was called 2-phase power, and maybe would have been if that name wasn't already being used for something different.
- Harvey51ExplorerWhat does "split phase" mean? Single phase, I guess.
