Dog tail? :h
Term used for electrical cord. - accsysExplorerElectrically, I have heard of pigtails and dogbones but never dog tail!!!
Why would you need a short 50 amp extension cord? That is all your "dog tail" would be. - Tom_M1Explorer

Recently at an new RV park, when I plugged in my surge protector, it was hanging without touching the ground, putting stress on the 50 amp connector plug. It could be just this RV park? - LantleyNomadSo now that we all see that it exist. I'm curious as to why you need it?

18 inch extension
Tom, thanks so much for directing me to Amazon for my electrical connector. Just what I was looking for. My local RV businesses thought I was crazy because they had never heard of it:)

No not with four pins. And the link provided takes you to the option of a 30 amp or 50 amp. - hersheyExplorerNo, not at all, a 50/50 is whats pictured and I would have lost some money betting that there wasn't such a thing. :) Maybe it is called a dog tail....I'm not betting on anything against that either.
- AllegroDNomadDogtail? Never heard it called that.
