A power supply that may be forward compatible with other chemistrys would be good, if at all possible, in the parameter designs. Maybe look at PD's product lineup now, with lithium batteries in the mix.
Or play dumb, call them up, ask the engineers some questions about the differences in charging of various battery chemistry? PD and IOTA for starters?
