Power converters come in many flavors (makes and models) but only 3 styles
1: built into the power center (hard wired)
2: Stand alone but hard wired
3: Stand alone but plug in
If you have type 3 (I do) then be aware I have a nasty habit of unplugging the thing by accident
If you have the first Progressive Industries 4600 series (match the last two digits) replaces ONLY the converter part. no need to replace the whole panel
IN the case of the 2nd (or 3rd) type.. Make it the 9200 series or the 9100 with the optional Charge Wizard (Whichever works out better for you)
BUT FIRST.... before you reach for your credit card, Check the fuses.. There will normally be 1,2 or 3 30 amp fuses on the converter (Except for type 1) or usually the right hand most fuses on the power center for the first type.
TO REPLACE first unplug. then wait 5 mintes at least then replace all the fuses (if one blows the others will too) then plug back in.
You might also have a shorted battery.
