Adjusting trailer door??

Is there a way to adjust my TT front door? Have a 2004 keystone zeppelin TT for a few years and we hooked up a few days ago to go away for a few weeks and when we got to the campground we leveled and set up. went to close the front door and the top corner (lock side)IS HITTING THE DOOR FRAME AND WILL NOT CLOSE. been setting up many times without a problem ever. TT is perfectly level and still will not close.... Is there a way to adjust these doors to lower that side or any other suggestions.
thanks
  • Since you have eliminated the jacks, it's time to look at the door. First make sure all screws are tight. Frame, hinges, and striker. If all seems well, inspect the door itself. Is it falling apart? Measure diagonally from corner to corner, both the door and the opening. Are they square?
  • If it has worked fine for the last 14 years and now it doesn't you have tweaked the frame somewhere along the line or the hinge is worn out. Where you leveling it using the Stabilizer jacks? Is the hinge loose allowing the door to move up and down relative to the frame?
  • OK, RELEASED ALL THE JACKS ALL 4 CORNERS AND FRONT DOOR STILL not opening unless i slam it hard. back door works just fine... not sure what happened... thanks for the suggestions..
  • Agreed, try loosening all the jacks and see if the door suddenly works. I have made mistakes on my jacks and had the catch on the bathroom door a full inch above the mating hole in the jamb.
  • You have twisted the frame with the stabilizer jacks. At least one is considerably tighter than the others.
  • Jack up the door side rear corner. Whether you think your level or not is irrelivent. Your not level. Basically you have to think when setting up. Checking one place you can show level. While checking a different place might show unlevel. In your case your box is twisted some causing the door to jamb. Of you think you want to change the door, you will have to take it out of the opening and refasten it.
