ALLISON 2000mh TRANNY PROBLEM, HELP!!!

I run a 02" Winny Journey pushed by Cummins ISB 275, Allison 2000MH tranny. A month ago my VP-44 injector pump started throwing a check engine light and code. I took it to a shop and it turned out that I needed a new lift pump and the VP-44 high pressure pump. Some how the techs managed to do something to my Allison that caused the check trans light to come on and it would not reset when the ignition was recycled. I suppose the Allison was in "LIMP" mode because it would not do more than 45 mph and ran as though the torque converter was not locking up. Waiting for the opportunity to get it in the Allison shop in Atlanta. They said it was not electrical as most of their problems often are. Anyone have a clue what might cause the problem ?????
Winny, Journey WKP32T, Cummins ISB 275 HP, Allison 2000MH, 5 speed Auto, Raptor Air Dog fuel pump, towing 2012 Nisson Xterra 4X4 Auto W/ drive shaft disconnect!

Don't know about everyone else...

But I'd like to learn how this turns out - what the problem was and the fix.

Not that important to most folks.

Aparently it is or you wouldn't have responded.

Reminds me of this new director our division got. He "warned" us he never uses spell check so don't be surprised by his emails and such.
The only thing that surprised us all was how ignorant this guy really was. He couldn't spell the most simple of words.
So while we may have had doubts about him before, his writing removed all doubt he was an idiot.

The only thing more stupid is refusing to learn.
Nope, an arrogant blowhard on a transmission trouble thread is way more stupider.....

Hmmmmmm...

Apparently it's not "If you get there"

That's important...

It's "How you get there"

Interesting...

Well I'll be the first to say if it weren't for spell checker I couldn't spell $hit. I must say I use it always. However I'm not here to correct anyone. The other night I was reading a post and could not understand a thing that the OP said. How people were were giving him advice I do not know. Sorry about the 2cents. However there is a Allison shop N of Atl. off 75. Been there and had trks repaired there. Very easy to get to.

Such great help for OP's problem. I'm sure many of us with an Allison have learned a lot.

Have you taken it back to the shop that did the work? Perhaps they left something disconnected. Surely it their responsibility to fix the issue that they caused!
